AJL Property Services specialise in the installation of JG Speedfit hot water underfloor heating systems, including pressure testing and commissioning. Speedfit Underfloor Heating provides significant advantages over a traditional radiator-based system.
The system works by circulating low temperature water, normally between 35-55°C, through loops of plastic pipe work which are embedded within the floor structure. This effectively turns the whole floor area into a low surface temperature radiator. Warm water is distributed to the pipe work laid within the floor from a manifold positioned in a convenient central location such as under the stairs or in a cupboard. The Speedfit Underfloor Heating system can be installed into most floor types and can be used with most floor coverings.
A radiator system lacks total efficiency as it transfers energy into the room largely by convection.
