About the Business
GO Plumbing, Gas & Heating was founded by Gavin Ormston, a GAS SAFE registered experienced plumbing and heating engineer. Gavin worked as an Aircraft Engineer for 20 years, having trained at the British Aerospace in Manchester. He moved to Cambridge 14 years ago to work at Marshall Aerospace and then on to Inflite Engineering based at Stansted Airport. Five years ago, Gavin retrained as a plumbing and heating engineer, looking for a new challenge. He chose plumbing and heating after completing a house refurbishment and then a full renovation on a second property, discovering a passion for it.
Keen to provide a high quality reliable service at reasonable and affordable prices, Gavin takes great pride in his workmanship. He holds City & Guilds and NVQ qualifications and is GAS SAFE (previously CORGI) registered. Gavin continues to train and research, keeping up to date with new materials and techniques, to ensure he provides his customers with the service quality they deserve.
