About the Business
The company was formed in 1995 by five ex-British Gas Managers who had each built up considerable experience within the gas industry, from design consultancy, to all sizes and installation of pipework, heating and process applications.
The commercial sector was an area of activity BG at that time was seeking to withdraw from. Given the contacts that had been developed over the years, there was a logical business opportunity.
It was the initial intention that the company would concentrate on this sector but in 1996 the company was awarded the British Gas contract for their "GasCare" Elderly & Disabled Safety Checks throughout the Yorkshire/Lincolnshire area. This contract ran successfully from 1996-2011. Alongside this contract has been additional Quality Assurance work on Leeds City Council's domestic service contractors, which again saw us work in synergy with BG.
